Alan Peters is a down to earth guy. He is honest and tells you how it is. He will not be doing the work until this Thursday. But I feel very comfortable about him doing to good job.

Alan was very thorough and informative when he came to assess the job. When Ken came to do the job, he was polite, skilled, and neat. He had me look at what he was doing as he progressed and kept asking me if I was happy with his work. My bathroom was immaculate when he left and the tiles look like new.

When my daughter asked me to find her someone to replace her bathroom grout, I told her she should just replace the tile. She insisted on me finding someone to re-do the grout and I hired The Grout Medic. I couldn't believe how nice the tile looks. It looks like a brand new bathroom. I'm glad she didn't listen to Mom! She saved a lot of money just having it redone.

The grout technician was punctual, skilled, and strived for the highest quality work. He took the extra time for the regrouting to dry before he applied the silicone caulking. Furthermore, the technician was polite, willing to listen to the customer input, and he was very neat. He cleaned all the debris after the work was done, and he was careful to wear shoe slipovers in order not to dirty our floors. My wife was very appreciative of the shoe slipovers. I gave the highest rating for the work, and I have high praise for the grout technician.

It went better than I could have imagined. The owner himself came to view the job. He was excellent. He told me he could clean everything up without a problem and, knowing we just moved in, the last thing we'd want to do is gut the bathrooms to do a reno. The guys who came in to do the job, were amazing. They were polite, professional, efficient and most of all honest. I'm only sad I didn't have more bathrooms for them to do. I recommended them to my realtor to offer their service to her clients to help them clean up their own bathrooms before selling or buying. They were truly amazing.

The estimate was provided after hours - to accommodate my schedule and get me an estimate ASAP. Work was done on time and as scheduled.

I initially called to possibly get a quote over the phone. I wanted to see if I would be able to afford the service at this time. I left a message and Noelle, which I found out later, is Alan's daughter, called me back within probably 15 minutes. I explained what I needed done and she was so nice. I asked her just an approximate price and I would not hold her to it. She told me a range and said it is also a free consultation. Alan would come and look, give me a price with no obligation. I thought that was fair. I needed a Saturday and she gave me an appointment for the following Saturday. Not 10 minutes later she called back and asked if I would like the appointment for the immediate Saturday coming up. I said sure! WELL, Alan showed up on time! The NICEST MOST PROFESSIONAL GENTLEMAN EVER!!! He looked at the shower and told me exactly what it needed, the price and when he would be able to do the job. He could see I was nervous because I have been dealing with house issues since my husband's passing. He was so sweet! He said everything will be fine when the work is done and not to worry. We set up and appointment for a few days later. He called me a little while later after he left and asked if I wanted it earlier since he had a schedule change! Who does that?? Now on to Chris the technician. He was supposed to be at my home at 8am. He called me at 7:30am to tell me he was running a little late. I told him not a problem to take his time. Nobody ever calls in this day and age to tell you they are running late. When Chris came in he introduced himself and went right to work. Although it is only a day later, the job he did looks wonderful! Restored back to a lovely shower. He explained what he did and when I should be able to use the shower again which would be in a couple of days. He left the bathroom clean and spotless. You would never know he was there! I was VERY impressed! I highly recommend this company and Alan and Chris! This will be my new go to grout company!!! 🙂

They did a good job.  However, they did not honor the Angie's list big deal, per there e-mail:
"First I?d like to apologize for the inconvenience however, the Big Deal must be presented at the time of estimate as per the. We can either do more work for you and honor the Bid Deal purchased or Angie?s list will refund your $99 for the purchase."
So the job that should have cost us $62 ($262 less $200 big deal) ended up costing us $262.  I will be contacting Angie's list to see if I can actually get a refund for the $99 spent on the big deal.

We purchased a special $200 for $100. The owner, Alan, came out and gave us an estimate, explained the process and care required afterward. He was very thorough. We were also provided with instructions. We scheduled the work a month or so after our consultation. The cleaning tech was on time and it took about 1&1/2 hours to complete the work.  The floors came out wonderful! There was a mix up with the charge; but it was resolved quickly by Noelle, the office manager. We would definitely use there services again.

This is my second time using the grout medic. I had a small job done a while back. I used them a second time since that small job went so smooth. Again the company was ontime, friendly and did the work we wanted in one day. They even wear shoe covering "booties" to keep my home clean which my wife truly was happy about with a little one crawling. We are a very satisfied customer, our kitchen floor looks like new again!

We have been communicating via email. We are kind of busy right now so they will probably come out next week, but that works with us. Communication with them has been good so far.

It went really well. I had used them in the past and wasn't at all satisfied, but, the work they did right held up great. I thought I'd take another chance in a small area. The owner came in and remembered the problem we had and made it right by doing my kitchen as well for no charge. That's good customer service.

The first call was the sales pitch, where I had to listen to several unbelievable stories until I heard what the final cost was going to be.  Since I had already paid $100 for the "Big Deal", I felt like I had to go with this company.  The guy who actually did the job showed up on time, and was very professional.  He did a good job explaining what was done, and a great job with the repair.  However, I did not like the fact that I was asked to fill out my Angies list review right there in front of him.  I know that he is told by his boss to do this to get better reviews, but I did not like that tactic. I will give the company an A, because I feel they did a good job with the repair.  However, I would like to point out that the price is probably more in the B-C range.
When all was said and done, I paid $400 for 45 minutes worth of work.  That was my "Big Deal".  Guess I should have gotten into this line of work!

Vendor contacted us promptly and responded to information requested promptly. Decided not to use the remediation service as we are looking to remodel shortly.

It was pretty good. They were pretty professional. When I placed the order through Angie's List it was a little misleading, I actually thought it was only going to cost me $99 but when they came up here it was just offset the $99 against it. So it is hard for us know if the $99 really did anything good for me or not.

My husband and I disagreed as to whether or not we needed the service, but the company seemed friendly enough. I would consider using them in the future.

I called because my beautiful tiles had so many dirty missing grout spots and a few cracked tiles on the floor from my entry to kitchen. The estimate Allan gave me was affordable and no pressure to do it right away, he was accommodating with my appointment to have the work done. Jason, the guy that did the work did a fabulous job scrubbing, grouting and sealing the kitchen and front entry floor. He took his time and went over each step with us while he was working on the floor. The technician did exactly what we went over at the estimate. The work was completed in the time frame they said. I was left information on how to maintain the work. I am very happy with the results in my shower and on the floor I would use them again.

Alan came to give me an estimate. He was very professional, friendly and informative. I did feel it was a little pricey. However, I felt more comfortable going with someone that actually came here to see the job as opposed to someone just giving me a price over the phone. I don't like surprises! In the end, I believe the service and quality of work was well worth it. Jason came to do the work. He was running an hour later than what I was told but he called to let me know when he would be coming so it was not a problem.  I would definitely recommend them.

The man who did the estimate with me, Alan Peters, was very professional but friendly. He explained that I should not have been cleaning the grout with bleach because it damages it. So, now, I use a mild cleaner I had on hand anyway. But he also said that it could be cleaned with a solution of 1 part vinegar and 7 parts water, too.  The grout was so terrible that I had not been able to get it clean, even with the bleach. That's why I decided to get new grout.  
The service man did a very nice job, much better than the previous grout job that had become very dirty because it was not thin and neat but globby and uneven. The grout repair man also cleaned up the bathroom after the job, so there was no debris from the old grout.
My tub and around the toilet now look beautiful!
After the grout had cured for a little over a month, I noticed one little spot where the grout was coming away from the tile. They sent another service man out right away and he  fixed it quickly for no extra charge.

 I received a very prompt return phone call from Alan and was able to receive an estimate within two days.  Alan came to the house to provide me an estimate for the job and was extremely polite.  I was very pleased that he was able to get the job done to meet my extremely tight deadline.  The two men that came to do the job just two days after my estimate were professional and did an excellent job on the tile.  I appreciated the phone call they made on the day of the job to advise me that they were running a bit over on a previous job so that I was aware of the slightly revised time of their arrival. A friend of mine had used their services in the past and was very pleased, so they came highly recommended.
